Victoria often found herself holding back tears of pride and joy as she watched Amy blossom. In almost every way, she’d grown to love the girl like the daughter she’d always wanted. And it was so wonderful to be needed in such a motherly fashion again. It had been a long time. * Still soaking in her bubble bath, Victoria’s memory had come now to the previous afternoon. Victoria also had her own surprise for Amy and handed her the results of her SAT test she’d just received via email. With a maximum score of 800 in the verbal section of the exam, Amy had scored 640. Just six months ago, when Victoria had given her a mock SAT test, she hadn’t even scored 100. Amy scored 570 out of 800 in the math section of the exam, giving her a final SAT score of 1210.
