She put in her profile that she was 53 years old and that her husband Hank had divorced her after twenty-five years of married life for the office secretary who was reported to be 30 years old, blonde, busty and legs that went on forever! She also said her name was Marlene Peterson and now lived in an apartment because the Judge said Hank had to sell the house and give her half the proceeds. She also related that she too was ready to get on with her life, and start a new chapter with new beginnings, and yes, she was okay with re-locating anywhere in the United States. She sounded like she could be a match for John but he was still skeptical. Too many scammers out there! By now John knew the drill by heart.     and forth a few times, they would ask for money. John had an idea. He e-mailed Marlene and said that he would like to be able to talk to her on a webcam as his typing skills where not that great. He half expected her to balk at the idea but instead, she wrote that what he suggested made sense to her as well. She would go out and buy a webcam that very night. She wrote she didn't know why she hadn't thought of that before! He wrote her back and said he would go out and buy a cam as well. That put her more at ease. She too had been dealing with scammers and had blocked quite a few from ever contacting her again! John also wrote that he lived in Knoxville in the Turkey Creek area and she wrote back and said she lived off of Cedar Bluff road in the Stanton Apts. Only minutes apart by car and Marlene was more than interested in John. With each e-mail he sent to her, he was sounding better and better! Buying the web cams was the easy part both of them soon found out. They both said they were going to use Yahoo Messenger to talk to one another from now on. However, what they didn't know was that a gazillion people were already using it! John thought he was clever when he signed up. He put in a user name and much to his surprise, it came back and said it was already being used. Yahoo suggested using his own name but he was reluctant to use his own name. John wrote down six different user names that he just knew no one had thought of yet. WRONG! All six names were already being used. ...
