“So, did this place eat up all of your inheritance?” I ask “Not even close, baby girl,” Deanna scoffed. “How much did they leave you,” I asked. “Oh God! I’m sorry. I shouldn’t ask that; it’s none of my business. That was so rude.” “Sweetie, if I don’t mind you asking then why should you? It’s perfectly fine for you to ask,” Deanna replied. “When my mother passed away, her estate was valued at just a hair over ten million dollars.” My legs turned suddenly to rubber and I thought I was going to collapse as my heart jackhammered violently; slamming so hard against my chest I feared it was going to break a rib or two. My chest was so constricted by my racing heart that I couldn’t breathe and my stomach leapt into my throat. Oh my God! So not only is this amazing woman a Goddess and a Queen, but also a multi-millionaire. What in the world could she possibly see or ever want with a dingy little ditz like me? I don’t know how long I stood there without speaking. I don’t know if Deanna sensed I was about to implode or explode. It makes me almost want to cry to think ...
of you here all by yourself.” “Oh sweetheart,” Deanna said, deeply moved by my compassion and we embraced so warmly. “You’re about to make me cry.” “Why?” “Because of all the people that have ever been here, not one of them has ever said anything or been remotely concerned about me being here all alone.” I squeezed Deanna tightly and felt her trembling in my arms. She was crying. Eventually, we pulled apart and sure enough, her eyes were puffy and red with tear stains down her cheeks. Now my heart did break and tears welled in my eyes. Deanna softly caressed my cheek with her fingertips as she wiped away my tears. “Now don’t you start,” she said with a weak smile. “My God, you are so beautiful, Amanda.” “Not as beautiful as you,” I whispered as our lips came together. Her lips were so warm and so soft and Deanna was so very gentle with me. We kissed softly at first, gently allowing our lips to graze over each other, but we both could feel the hunger and fire burning deep inside. Resting my hand gently on the back of her head, feeling her soft and silky hair between my fingers, I probed my tongue to her lips and they opened just enough for my tongue to splurge deep into the silk and heat of her delicious mouth. I soon felt myself being lifted up into Deanna's arms like a bride being carried over the threshold. Feeling the thin silk curtains of Deanna's bed brushing against me, Deanna laid me down gently onto the soft mattress then climbed atop me. We curled up in each other’s ...
