four posted California King size bed with a canopy over the top and gorgeous, seemingly transparent silk curtains draping beautifully all round it down to the floor. A mountain of lovely silk body pillows lined the headboard that were encased in stunning satin that matched the sheets and the comforter. Her bed looked fit for an ancient Egyptian Empress. The walls of the room were a shade of lovely egg shell pink with majestic bay windows that were covered with white satin drapes. There was a gorgeous white cedar chest of drawers with matching bedside tables, breathtaking antique lamps and a hope chest that was piled high with adorable stuffed animals. Then when I went to work for Delta, I lived just outside of Atlanta for nearly six years in a two bedroom apartment. After they transferred me to Los Angeles, I lived in an efficiency apartment in Santa Monica for another three years. Not because I necessarily had to in either place; well in Santa Monica it very nearly was. But more than anything, it’s just what I was used to. And in the long run, I was able to save and put away a lot of money. Then, when my father passed away, I moved in with my mother in Culver City to look after her. Two years later, she passed away and the entire estate passed to me. I had just made Captain and was informed that I was being transferred here to Detroit and that more than likely it would be my permanent base. So when I got here, I decided I wanted a great big house; almost a castle. So I bought one. And here we are." ...
