    extremely rare occurrence for both the Captain and F.O. of a particular commercial airline flight to both be women. But it is happening more and more often nowadays. Sorry guys!! Sadly, my brother Rick did not come. As I previously said, I have not seen nor spoken to him since Christmas Day of 2013. I don’t think Mom has seen or spoken to him since then either because we never discuss him. To be perfectly honest, I don’t know if he’s alive or dead. I do miss him. And I have forgiven him. I just want him to get himself straightened out and to have a good life. Because deep down, he is a good man. Deanna and I were married at 11:00 in the morning on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at an absolutely precious little outdoor chapel in the heart of Napa Valley. This was a complete surprise to me. I thought we would be married at city hall, but apparently Deanna, Mom, Stephanie, Laura and Pam had other ideas and had somehow, managed to keep it a secret from me until we were on our way. Needless to say, I had a lot of clean up to do on my make up as I cried like a baby when we first arrived. The weather was perfect, the flowers were gorgeous and the ceremony was presided over by a lady minister. We then returned to our hotel in the city for a delectable luncheon and a reception that lasted well into the afternoon. That evening, without even changing out of our wedding gowns, Deanna and I drove across the Golden Gate Bridge to a secluded little park on the hillside that overlooked the ...
    Golden Gate and San Francisco Bay beyond. We sipped champagne as we snuggled in each other’s arms and watched the fog roll in over the bay as the sun set over the Pacific. The next day, we checked out of the hotel and then put everybody back on a plane and sent them back to Detroit. After which, Deanna and I drove out back out Napa Valley for the afternoon. Late that evening, we boarded an Amtrak train with our own private compartment for a romantic overnight train ride down to Los Angeles. The night was crystal clear and the two of us made sweet and tender love as best we could in such a cramped little bed. But mainly we just cuddled and snuggled; and talked incessantly about Emily and how much we both missed her. I know! We’re becoming such mothers!!! But one thing we did decide that beautiful evening aboard that train is that we definitely want another baby. Only this time, Deanna wants to have my baby. And based upon her lab work and test results from getting me pregnant with Emily, the doctors saw no physical reason why Deanna couldn’t have a very healthy and safe pregnancy despite her age. Although they did caution that if she wanted to, she probably ought to do it within the next two to three years at the maximum! Any time beyond that and it would become very risky for both her and the baby. So we have decided that this coming June, we will again go to Houston and repeat the procedure; only with the roles reversed this time. It would certainly be wonderful if Deanna would ...
