    She then had to wear a colostomy bag for the next three months before they could reattach her colon. Now it was my turn to take care of my mother; and I did. I spent nearly two weeks with her and believe it or not, I was actually getting scholastic credits for it as I was acting as a live-in nurse. The whole ordeal was very hard on Mom, physically and mentally. But as when I was convalescing after Kyle beat me up, Mom and I had a wonderful opportunity to spend time together and bond.
