lips were soft and sweet and her tongue moved just inside Haden's mouth. Her breasts pushed up against Haden and she was filled with the fragrant mix of Terra's sweat and the spicy fragrance she wore. Haden didn't kiss her back. She didn't push away. She just kind of let Terra do what she wanted to. Terra didn't grope at her or try to turn it into a make out session. It was a long lingering light kiss that was intensely intimate, but Haden was somehow okay with it, despite the fact that she'd never kissed a woman before. Terra's lips left Haden's but she let her mouth linger just a breath away from hers. Somewhere in her brain, Haden knew that there were people staring at them. Boys were aroused, women probably thought they were pretending to kiss to get the attention of the men. But all of that still seemed unimportant. She couldn't even get a grip on the beat of the music. It was Terra's breath, smell, her presence that consumed Haden's world at the moment. The words just came out of her mouth. She hadn't planned them. Maybe it was the alcohol, but Haden thought it was more than that. “I cheated on my husband.” Her eyes started to well up. But they hadn't had sex, she was fairly sure of that. Terra had insisted they get a cab and Haden had been confused when they'd arrived at the girl's tiny shotgun apartment instead of her own home. But by then, Haden had been too d***k to care. She remembered stripping down and cuddling with Terra briefly before falling fast asl**p. There had been something else as well, but it wasn't quite coming back to her. Haden rubbed her temples and tried to recall the fogged over details. The old fashioned wind up clock next to Terra's bed said that it was almost nine in the morning. She sighed. Haden had no idea how she would explain this to Andrew. Her phone was likely full of texts already. Her clothes and belongings were on a heap on the floor, mixed in with Terra's. Haden slipped out of bed quietly and got dressed with the exception of her shoes and tip-toed out of Terra's room. When she stepped out of the bedroom, she realized what she'd forgotten. Terra lived with Jules. Jules looked rather plain without her make up, but Haden noticed that she still moved through her kitchen like she was at a photo shoot. She was wearing bright red platform flip flops and a red kimono that was serving as a robe. Her hair was in curlers. “Good morning,” she said casually. Haden saw that she was pouring a second cup of ...
