    It didn’t happen very often but, for once, she did as she was told. Two days later Holly burst through the front door of Charlie’s small flat carrying several plastic carrier bags full of shopping. “You awake?” she shouted No answer was forthcoming from Charlie so Holly unpacked the shopping and put the items into Charlie’s refrigerator and cupboards. Holly had originally agreed to leave this morning but she didn’t want to wake Charlie up. She had looked so peaceful. Yet she didn’t want to leave without saying good bye. She had figured she could go and do Charlie some shopping and she would be awake by the time she returned. Holly’s thoughts turned to leaving. She couldn’t explain it but she just didn’t want to go. She had become protective of Charlie and, even though she had only been in her flat for two days, it kind of felt like she belonged. Most of all, she admitted to herself, for the first time, she didn’t want to leave Charlie. She enjoyed her company, she loved her smile, her laugh, her cute pout, and she admired her shapely figure. In truth she had barely been able to get the girl out of her head even for a second. When Charlie had asked Holly to hug her because she hadn’t been able to sleep due to having nightmares the previous night, Holly had fought against her desire to touch and kiss the blonde girl with all of her self-control. She had become accustomed to being alone. Charlie had somehow awoken the desires and needs of Holly again after they had been lying dormant for so long and Holly was finding it harder and harder to keep them under control. Holly finished unpacking and walked towards Charlie’s room. Then she poked her head through the door. Charlie was still asleep but Holly walked in anyway. She climbed onto the bed and laid behind Charlie. She propped herself up on one elbow and began to gently and carefully stroke Charlie’s hair. Charlie’s eyes flickered open after a little while and she turned towards Holly. With a wide smile she greeted the other girl. “Hiya.” “Hi sleeping beauty.” Charlie smirked wickedly. ”Oh so you think I’m beautiful now?” Holly stumbled having not expected her comment to be returned in that manner. ”Oh, well, yeah of course you are,” as she thought what the hell is wrong with me? I don’t get nervous around anyone like this. Charlie didn’t say anything else. She just enjoyed the stroking, the attention and a little bit of Holly’s awkwardness.
