The other techs were more experienced, being older, so they got jobs at other big companies. I found a job repairing TVs. Myself: One word: Average. People kept their “sex life” in the closet. Married or not. One religious sub-group prohibited public affection between husband and wife, including dancing. (How the hell did they choose mates and get married?). A 19 yr old guy with a 38 yr old woman would cause quite a stir and trouble for her. She was a nurse at a Catholic owned hospital.
