handheld shower head to the floor and quivered with my back against the shower wall for a few minutes before regaining my composure. Only then was I able to concentrate on finishing my shower. I couldn’t remember the last time that I’ve been so mischievous. It was a little past nine by the time I toweled my hair and body dry and laid back down on the bed. I spread out on the sheets naked. My body still felt hot and tingly from all of my self-serving sexual activity to cover myself with a sheet. All I wanted to do was close my eyes and fall to sleep for the night, but all I ended up doing was toss and turn, punch my pillow in trying to fluff it just right under my head. I tried hugging the pillows close to my body seeking comfort from them like I would from a man’s body lying next to mine. I tried counting sheep. I watched TV. I went back to pounding my pillow. Nothing seemed to work. It was closing in on 11 p.m. I was restless and more awake now than I was earlier on my last day of the sales convention. Getting up from the bed I looked out through my window again. I noticed the stars in the sky and the pool and spa seven floors below. There was no one in the pool because it was closed for the night. Once I hit the bottom floor I turned for the poolside doors and made my way to the spa. “Oh my, this is just what I need,” I sighed as I slowly slipped down into the active water. The water temperature was just right for that time of night. I folded the towel on the marble ledge of the spa and rested the back of my head on it while I looked up at the stars sparkling in the blackness of space. Instead of counting sheep I started counting stars, and I might have reached fifty before I lost consciousness and faded into dreamland. Somewhere in my dream I heard a man’s voice softly calling. “Miss. Miss.” I slowly opened my eyes and still in my dreamlike state of mind I saw a beautiful black man standing at the edge of the spa staring down at me. He was wearing a pair of white swim trunks that offset the very dark skin of his body. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you, but do you mind sharing the spa with me?” “Huh? Oh, not at all,” I sat up and replied as my brain came back to life. He stepped down into the water and sat opposite of me. “Hi. I’m Clark,” he said with a friendly tone of voice. “Hi Clark. I’m Hannah,” I replied with a friendly return. He looked like he was in his early thirties and very attractive. “Nice to meet you Hannah,” he said. “Nice to meet you too,” I replied. We began to talk about what we were doing in El Paso. I told him about the three day sales convention that I had just finished attending. He told me that ...
