The speculum was then removed and I was placed on my side with my knees up to my chest. I then heard another trolley being wheeled toward the table and a TV monitor placed in front of me. This is so I could see the pictures that the scope was taking. I was given a d**g through the I.V. which would slightly sedate me, enough so that I couldn't feel anything but still be alert to watch the graphics in front of me.
