    Butterfly. The birds sing sweetly in the trees, I'm bathed by a silky breeze, The sky above is a true azure blue. I feel happy... But I simply just can't fall in love with you... My love she is a butterfly And flutters fondly soft and shy So honest and so loving and so true. It sounds like an ideal world... Girl... But I simply just can't fall in love with you... And in my dreams we laugh and love Soaring atop heavens above Oh pretty baby tell me that you do? The VERTIGO won't let me go but you should really, really know... I simply just can't fall in love with you... Her hesitation brings frustration though I understand My love for her is hopeless though it's vast and fine and grand And loving her is everything I ever wanted to... But I simply just can't fall in love with you... And I would if I could and I know that I should and I really, really would... But it's something that we neither just can't can't do. And though my passion crashes, inflames, boils my blood OH TRUE! (I simply just can't fall in love with you.)
