The drought has lasted for so long, this mist relieves the dread, as odors rise to lift our spirits smelling the cleansing rain. Aspirations lost for so long, she let them drift away, inhaling perfumed hope that comes with the rain washing love's angst away. Both citywide and countryside relax, as soft drops of future growth drip gently down upon all uplifted faces raised to trust what will come. Little girl lost, and found once more, she is touched by hands of supplicated gods beckoning her homeward to fulfill her fondest dreams. Golden grasses nodding under weight, dried and stiff, now supple with desired dampness at long last, to grow again under sunlit skies come the dawn. Feeling the joining so long sought, walking in quiet contemplation, breathing the air of true love's expectation, the eloquence of ambiance speaks. Trembling leaves of sere trees soak with botanical trust sensing that sprouting expansion must come soon, while droplets drizzle down trunks. Blooming with potential purpose her tryst with love unfolds, as she glows exploding out to rejoin the world, with expectations. Tiny blossoms of harmony grow, vividly colorful bursts of petals and scent, the fragrance of hopes engendered by the moisture. And thus the earth conspires to join, as walking in gladness I come to enfold her, quenching all the thirst she knew, she drinks of the cup of love at long last.
