Hello lovelies! Here is chapter six. I hope you like it! If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see Lena and Milo do, let me know! Xoxo, Cede -------- Milo’s car was a piece of junk. He claimed it was a cherry red, six cylinder, sport GE something, but that couldn't make up for the fact that it was missing the front passenger seat. So while he jumped into the driver’s seat, I was forced to either sit on the disgusting, crummy floor where the passenger seat was supposed to be, or sit in the back. “How are you going to drive a baby around in this thing?” I asked, leaning forward, my elbows on my knees. “Your car is a death trap.” Milo started the car, and hit the garage door opener. Behind me the door lurched to life, revealing the night sky. “Lucy’s car has airbags and stuff. Plus it’s only from 2005.” Milo glanced over his shoulder, and backed the car out. “Airbags and babies totally go together.” I smirked. Milo grunted. “Whatever. I’m sure Lucy will know what to do.” He peeped into the rear view mirror at me. “What?” I rolled my eyes in response. “So Publix or Wallgreens?” “Um, doesn't matter.” “You’re sure a great help, sis!” He joked. We drove the next few minutes without speaking. Milo turned the radio up, but it was a remix weekend and the deejay only played crappy versions of the songs. The parking lot outside the grocery store was virtually vacant. There were a few cars sprinkled in the back of the lot, but that was all employee cars. Milo pulled the ...
car in to a space next to a handicap spot, and threw the gear into park. “You go get the ice cream, I have a couple other things I want to get,” Milo said, grabbing a basket. We split up, him going towards the pharmaceuticals, and me to frozen foods. Generic brand ice cream was buy one, get one. I grabbed mom’s cookie dough, and then a rocky road because that was my favorite flavor. I was supposed to buy ice cream for Lucy? Opps! I didn't know what flavor she likes. Oh well. I was a horrible person, but she was so fucking insufferable! I gabbed a jar of cherries from the shelves at the end of the aisle, and pushed my cart to checkout to wait for Milo. When I got there, he was already paying. “Um, did you forget something?” I asked, waving my hands in the air. “Pay for your stuff with mom’s card, this was my stuff,” he said, taking the receipt from the checker. The cashier was an old woman, her skin saggy and loose, like it was dripping off of her body. Her hair was dyed a garish, unnatural shade of red, and her eyebrows tinted to match. Not that she had much eyebrows left. They were mostly drawn on. Okay, like, ninty precent drawn on. Her name tag read Doris. No wonder Doris worked the night shift: the slowest shift where less people were likely to see her. “Are you having a party?” I looked up to see Jake from my math class, holding up one of the ice creams. Shit, I didn't know he worked as a bag boy here! He wore a stupid grin that was probably supposed to look flirty, but ...
