iCarly/Victorious: Learning Curves #9 – Chapter 9November 13 3:12pm UCLA Outside Elkins Hall Try as she might, Sam Puckett could not catch up to the speeding Latina, who seemed to brush past the groups with such relative ease it was al-most depressing. Speaking of depressing, while her clothes may have been on, the former iCarly sidekick was a complete dishevelled mess and got stare after awkward stare from the moving students. Finally, once she had broken from the crowd, Sam was able to run to the now slowed down Tori, and scared the brunette as she grabbed her shoulder. "Stop… Tori…" she wheezed, trying to catch her breath, her throat still very sore from what Adams had f*rced her into under that desk. "Please… It wasn't-" "Look, Sam… you seem nice and all, but you don't need to explain yourself to me… just leave me alone so I can go burn my eyes out." "I know… it’s disgusting… but, it was the only way… the only way I could stay in school." "Somehow that just makes it more disgusting… why would that keep you here?" Tori asked, spinning around finally and looking into Sam's bl**dshot eyes. "Because Freddie got me in here, and Adams figured out that not only was I dumb… but also that I didn't write my admissions essay." Sam breathed a deep sigh and looked away from Tori's judging face. Tori asked incredulously, trying to ... shake the strange feeling she felt at the mere mention of Freddie's name. "Is that what you wanted to talk to me about the other day? This?" "Actually…" Sam took another deep sigh, knowing that this conversation was going to get even more awkward. "I wanted to ask you about a guy… but I'm actually relieved that someone else knows for sure. The others have tried to help, but the school won't deal with just what my friends tell them and every time it does get brought up, Adams just makes it that much worse for me. I'm just tired of feeling so cheap and dirty and I just want the semester to end so I can drop out and disappear." While Sam had some more stuff after mentioning 'a guy', Tori's brain went into a frenzy at what it could possibly be. From what Jade had told her, Sam was crazy possessive of Freddie and if the aggressive blonde knew that she was now with Freddie too, then the fit Latina could be hurt… in more ways than one. Eventually, her need to help won out over her fears. "I'm so sorry, Sam… but I really don't know what to tell you. I would report it, but that might cause even more trouble, you know? But you have to put an end to this… if for no other reason, so you can keep your dignity." "Yeah… I don't think dignity is even in the realm of possibilities for me, Tori." "Maybe… but let me help you write the paper for next week… not write it for you, but help you, and if you make some good grades, maybe you won't have to deal with him so much." Sam thought immediately ...
