it,” Sòlana announced her mouth stuffed with meat. Her emerald robe scintillating in the sun’s ray; she voraciously ate. Her dainty hands gleamed with grease, long luscious blonde hair frayed while she gorged down the meat. Matt, dressed in his shining silver armor failed to look the part of a leader as well. His tail wagged, brushing aside his dark cap. Sitting across from them the devil incarnate, Veritas, casually smiled. “Fantastic,” Veritas spoke. “We can leave tomorrow. If we run out of meat we can hunt for more.” Eyes around the room gleamed at his words at once plans were made. By dawn a small caravan gathered, Matt and Sòlana at the lead. A couple of guards and secretaries accompanied them, leaving Clarissa along with Ulmék to handle the city. Camping in the middle of the forest Veritas served dinner to his companions. Concerned for Rus’ health he gave him a bowl of vegetable broth. Rus, took one sniff and immediately barked annoyed. “Eat your veggies then I’ll give you some meat afterwards.” Lilia giggled at the sight of Rus sullenly eating his meal. The accused lowered her head in shame, apologizing for her transgression. Heartbroken Rus couldn’t forgive her. Veritas having no more meat left brought up the most obvious solution. Picking up Rus he proclaimed, “Tonight we’ll hunt.” “Is the pest still here,” Rus nodded. “Okay, don’t show off.” “Woof,” enthusiastically he leapt out of his arms leading the hunt. Sitting down Veritas grabbed a dagger and proceeded to cut the meat. Hunting with such a large group was an exhilarating experience. Although he didn’t do much he observed quite a lot. His main subjects were Matt and Sòlana. As leaders these two were represented the best of the best. With a flick of the wrist, Sòlana orchestrated the world around her. Swiftly she moved, taking advantage of her high Agility. Trees moved, their roots drew out every mobs hiding in the area; fire coalesced, bringing about quick death to attacking enemies. Matt on the other made mobs fight at his own pace. Facing multiple enemies he lulled them. Contrary ...
