Nothing really matters since you've been gone. Only numbness remains, A reminder of once was between us. I've given up all hope of your return. Vague memories form and take shape, Before dissipating entirely. It feels so long ago now. The sound of your voice, I can barely remember. I see you have a new love now. Does she know about me? I know you act nonchalantly, I know you wonder how I'm doing. I can feel you still trying to hurt me, But you can't hurt me anymore. That door has been closed and locked, Never to be open again. I feel no ill will towards you, I hope life is treating you kindly. And that you are well. I hope to feel again soon.
