Sometimes A World
Date: 8/5/2017, Categories: Love Poems, Author: StillUndecided, Rating: 10, Source: LushStories
Sometimes the world is not enough, Sometimes a house is not a home, Material things don't count at all, When people exist with no joy. Empty hearts bleed little hope, No love or feeling runs through veins, A shadow cast o'er men in pain, As the world revolves again. A falling tree in a wood, If not a soul is there, Does it make a sound, As its branches crack on the ground? Sometimes a world is broken down, But one being finds a match, Lays claim and says, "I choose this one," And their lives become entwined. Sometimes a world has lost all hope, 'Til one marvellous love comes along, Changes everything - right comes from wrong, And inspires people with new song. The day she met her one true love, Over flew a pair o' white doves, Marking new beginnings to the world, That goes with wings unfurled. Ancient love returns again, The music is sweet, not plain, The sun shines for those in pain, And the world revolves again. Sometimes a world is broken down, Until a little heart with hope comes along, Lets loose its joyous song, Like angels singing in a throng.
