I guarantee you will love it,” Klaus replied. “Will he pair the meal to the wine?” Riley inquired, before he could walk away. “Oh absolutely madam. I assure it will be a perfect pairing,” Klaus answered, “I’ll be back shortly, with your hors d'oeuvres.” Klaus did not mislead us, the food was truly amazing. Never before had I tasted anything so good. First he brought mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and I don’t know what else, but the flavors were unbelievable, I could have eaten a thousand of them. A melon and cucumber salad followed the mushrooms, and it too was spectacular. Before that night, I would never have believed it possible for food to have such flavor and I never would have thought of making a salad with cucumbers and melons. It was a whole new dining experience for me, and I liked it. Between the salad and main course, Riley excused herself to go to the ladies room. As I watched her walk away, I noticed an older couple sitting a few tables away. I had been so focused on Riley, and the food, I hadn’t noticed them sitting there, but the man definitely noticed Riley as she passed their table.
