It has been a long time since I’ve updated this series and I’m really happy I’ve gotten back to work on it. I have found the binder in which I wrote out this chapter and was finally able to type it up. I’ve gotten a lot of e-mail about it since the last time I updated and I’m sorry if I’ve neglected to respond. It wasn’t my priority. I’ve tried to be better at responding lately and will continue to do so. As always, you can e-mail me any questions, comments, critiques, etc at cboyny@gmail.com. I hope this chapter has been worth the wait. Chapter 8 – Why we whisper in hallways I awoke to the familiar sound of my alarm clock ringing in my ears. Ugggh. Another day. Truly I lived in paradise. Eh? I turned the alarm off and flopped out of bed. Groggily, my eyes still closed, I stumbled to my bathroom. I turned on the shower and stood there, my mind blank, while the water warmed. cock and balls jiggle and giggled to myself. I walked to the closet and picked out my clothes for the day: black boxer briefs with white penguins on them, skinny jeans, a white graphic tee, and grey converses. Just my style. Just how I rolled. I grabbed my book bag, headed downstairs, and walked out the door. It was looking to be a meh day. The clouds hung low and grey. It didn’t look like it was going to rain, it was just going to be hot and muggy. Yay Florida! I sat down at my usual spot by the end of my driveway and waited for Josh and Casey. I was so paranoid about how they would interact that I heard it the second that Casey opened the door. I looked up as he started walking towards me and our eyes met. He walked over to where I was sitting and sat down, joining in my wait. “Finish what you started?” he asked with a laugh. “Nope,” I said brusquely, “You walking in kinda killed the mood.” “Yeah…sorry about that.” “Meh. I’ll live. At least it isn’t that big of a secret anymore. Fuck everyone else, but it was weird not telling you.” Our beautiful moment of reflection was interrupted. “Heey…” Josh fell silent when he saw Casey sitting next to me. He stopped in his tracks, unsure of what to do. He looked like he wanted to run home and pretend to be sick. “Josh…” Casey stood up and turned to face him. It was clear from his eyes that he was trying to reassure Josh that he wasn’t out to get him. “…I don’t care. I really don’t. I couldn’t give a fuck if you’re gay…” “I’m not gay!” ...
