jumping in the surf of a tropical beach, clad in a flimsy thing of a bikini and looking good enough to eat. She was lean and had a brilliant figure, such lovely, full, pert breasts that teased with droolworthy perfection, and, by god, her smile… The fluttering became a storm. I hastily pushed the picture back where it belonged, fingers trembling, cheeks ablaze, and had to plop down on the couch, holding onto her purse in front of me to keep me steady. A shadow fell over the table, and there she stood, looking wide-eyed between her purse and my face. “Oh,” I stammered, the image of her beauty dancing in my mind and guilt over my indecent thoughts preventing me from meeting her eyes, “Ihre Handtasche ist auf den Boden gefallen, und ich habe sie aufgehoben.” She stayed rooted to the spot and only stared at me without comprehension. Is eight too late?” “Eight is perfect!” It was all I could do not to jump across the table for a hug. Food and drinks already billed, we headed upstairs to the hotel, said somewhat awkwardly goodnight and headed off towards our rooms. My feet barely touched the ground. Saturday Katie Conversation with Chrissie had just been so easy. I was genuinely surprised at how interested in me she'd seemed to be. She'd even invited me to dinner the following night. Given how much she'd caught my attention in the bar before we'd spoken, I felt like I was in ...
