***AUTHOR'S NOTE: Congratulations to 'Bill' for winning the most profound comment of last chapter! I notice y'all are starting to get bummed out with the negativity my story has taken, particularly with Adam's attitude. It won't last forever, but bear with me. I will make an effort to satisfy y'all on that front though. That said, I'm glad you all made that criticism - it means you care about Adam's character, and see the characters as people, not objects. This gives me more joy than I can express. Also, some of you have suggested I make this a full book - I mean, I'm all for it, but it's a story about freshmen getting it on. It would kind of be illegal to publish this. Can I get some confirmation on that? I'm no expert on the legal aspects of publishing. And now I've got good news and terrible news. Well, to you guys it may be bad news and terrible news... The good news is, writing may be a career possibility in my future. I am now part of a game-making team. I will be making the dialogue and composing the music for an upcoming indie game. Let me level with you, this may eat into my time writing this series, but I guarantee you I'm not going anywhere and I will still be dedicating all of the free time I can to writing these stories. Though needless to say, with everything going on in my life right now (which includes school, a job, a social life, a romantic life, the game project and my home life) don't expect me to manage to make these in less than a week. Just letting ... you know. I've been so busy lately, I've had to *gasp* stop playing video games, and I've ignored some social conventions of my own life. That's right, Being More Social has made me less social. Irony, ladies and gentlemen. And now, the terrible news... This Wednesday, a friend of mine got hit by a car. He died. I don't even know what to say after that. I mean, I'm still trying to write, but there are just these moments where I open my story, but instead of writing, I just end up staring at the wall or crying or something. It's gonna take me a long time to fully get back on my feet, so just bear with me. If the story starts suffering as a result, please let me know. If nothing else, the guy was supportive of everyone around him and the last thing he'd want to know is that I'm wallowing in sadness and not carrying on. Death is a serious thing and you never know what the feeling of grief is like until it hits you. I may break down in the coming bit, I may temporarily stop writing. I'm going to try not to, and I promise I won't leave. But... Yeah. Anyway, enough with the sad stuff. That's where my life is right now if any of you care. Above all, I'll be fine. If you want to do anything to help, just enjoy the story. I just hope that I can bring you some joy, and I don't want anything in my life to cloud your enjoyment of this series.
